4 Franchise fast food around Fushimi Inari Shrine - Not expensive, not bad, so It's amazing.

Back when I traveled to Rome, every shop seemed like a rip-off. The tour guide told me, "The shops in front of Termini are dangerous," but she didn’t tell me which places were Reasonable and tasty. As I was walking down the street, I came across a place that looked like a franchise. In the end, I ate there. It was just a very standard taste, but it provide me a "safety." For turists like me who are conservative and skeptical, this article will introduce some franchise locations around Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Fortunately, there's a university(Ryukoku Univ) near Fushimi Inari Shrine . The area around there is the students’ quarter.There are a lot of fast-food franchisee. McDonald's is fine, but if you want Japanese food, go for gyudon(beef bowl). Lately, gyudon restaurants have expanded their side menus too.

The point to get to these shops is the two roads west of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (Shidan road and Takeda road). All shops are located along these roads.

Nakau(なか卯)

"Nakau" is actually not just a beef bowl . they also serve oyakodon, katsudon, udon, and curry. My favorite is the set with a half-size beef bowl and cold udon.

Among the fast-food restaurants in this area, Nakau is the only one that has katsu curry on the menu. Other places have curry too, but no tonkatsu. Tonkatsu isn’t really a menu item that fits the operation of a typical beef bowl restaurant. It’s precisely because Nakau serves other dishes besides beef bowls, like katsudon, that they can offer it.

Yoshinoya(吉野家)

If I’m just eating gyudon, I go to Yoshinoya. The beef, aged at low temperature for two weeks, is tender. And compared to other chains, it really has that beefy flavor. Recently, they’ve started offering ramen and soupless ramen. But the noodle dishes can change depending on the season, and sometimes they might not have them at all. If you don’t see them on the menu, you should go to a ramen place.There's a "Tenkaippin" 100 meters north of Yoshinoya.Yoshinoya also sell curry and Karaage(fried chicken).

Sukiya(すき家)

At Sukiya, you can add various toppings to your beef bowl. I like the cheese topping. There are also kimchi, green onions, and limited-time toppings. They also sell curry. If you've had a beef bowl before, how about trying the 'Aigake' this time, where you put half curry and half beef on your rice? They also have other options like eel bowls and negitoro bowls, offering a wide variety.

McDonald's
